Former Montana State skier Emily Danza joined the alpine ski coaching staff as an assistant in August of 2019.
Danza, who graduated from MSU in 2014 with a degree in physiological psychology, returns to the Blue and Gold following a stint coaching the Under 14 and FIS programs at Eldora Mountain Ski Club in Colorado. Prior to leading Eldora Mountain to national and international competition and training, Danza served as the U-16 and FIS coach with Bridger Ski Foundation from 2014-17.
Danza, who skied for the Bobcats from 2010-14, is a sport and performance consultant and received her Master of Arts degree in sports and performance psychology from Denver in June. As a senior, Danza qualified for the 2014 NCAA Skiing Championships in Park City, Utah.
A graduate of Bozeman High, she was born and raised in Italy and is fluent in English, Italian and French. She is a member of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association and is a certified USSSA Level 200- Alpine Ski Coach.
