Andrew Pedersen joined the Bobcat Athletic Media Relations staff in the fall of 2016. He serves as the primary contact for men's basketball, track and field, cross country and golf. He also plays a role in Montana State's social media efforts and heads the Bobcats' web presence.
Pedersen previously worked in the Athletics Communications office at Missouri State University as a graduate assistant for two years. A native of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, Pedersen earned a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in public relations and advertising from North Dakota State University in 2014. He completed a master's degree in communication from Missouri State in the spring of 2016.
During his time at Missouri State, Pedersen served as the primary contact for field hockey, tennis and men's and women's swimming and diving. He also assisted with game day operations for all Bears athletic programs.
Pedersen spent four years at NDSU assisting the Athletic Media Relations staff in several facets. He contributed to the multimedia department, assisted with game day operations and updated the athletic website. During the 2013-14 academic year, Pedersen served as primary contact for the men's and women's golf teams and helped the publicity efforts for the Bison wrestling and baseball programs. He, along with his wife Erin and daughter Tatum, reside in Bozeman.
