Colin McGettigan begins his first season as Montana State’s Director of Basketball Operations during the 2022-23 season.
Prior to Montana State, McGettigan was a graduate assistant for Colorado State’s men’s basketball team for two seasons. During his time at Colorado State, the Rams went 25-6 and earned an at-large bid to the 2022 NCAA Tournament. The 6-seed Rams bowed out in the first round against 11-seed Michigan.
McGettigan was a student manager during all four of his undergraduate years, and he served as the head manager for his final three years. He assisted with workouts, film duties and assisted the team during home and road games.
Outside of Colorado State, McGettigan spent four years with USA Basketball and helped the 2021 men’s gold medal-winning Olympic team as they prepared for the Tokyo Olympics.
McGettigan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2020.
