Montana State (This Year) Entrenched as Montana State’s starting quarterback, and one of the most productive pivots in the FCS. (2014) Named MSU’s starting quarterback late in fall camp, and posted one of the remarkable seasons in school history… missed two late-season games with an injury, but threw for 2,559 yards, the ninth-most in a season in MSU history, and rolled up 3,525 yards of total offense, the third-best season in school history and already within 100 yards of the team’s career list… posted two of the top four total offense games in school history (509 yards vs. UC Davis, 478 yards against Sacramento State)… his 13 rushing touchdowns was the sixth-most in a season in MSU history, his 18 touchdown passes was eighth-most in a season, and his 31 touchdowns accounted for by rushing and passing was second-most… Third Team All-Big Sky… named MSU’s Sonny Holland Offensive MVP by his teammates… Big Sky Player of the Week four times, Sports Network FCS Offensive Player of the Week (Sacramento State), Beyond Sports Network FCS Athlete of the Week top five vs. Eastern Washington and Sac State… CFPA Player of the Week vs. UC Davis… five 100-yard rushing games, including 176 vs. Black Hills State, a record by a Bobcat quarterback. Personal Born October 17, 1993 in Newport, Calif… one of four children of Tim and Lisa Prukop… his father played football at UC Davis, an uncle (Todd Prukop) played football at Cal State Fullerton, another (Tom Prukop) played baseball at Cal Poly, and his grandfather (Al Prukop) played football at USC… high school teammates include MSU receiver Brandon Brown.
