(2012) Earned All-America honors (1st Team AFCA, 2nd Team Phil Steele), along with his second Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year award... First Team All-Big Sky... Payton Award semi-finalist... threw for 3,154 yards, fourth-most in school history, and his .660 completion percentage was a school record... 24 TD passes was tied for second. (2011) Answered his spectacular freshman season with a solid sophomore campaign… threw for 2,799 yards, fourth in school history, and 23 touchdowns, tied for second in school history… his .610 completion percentage was third in MSU annals… Second Team All-Big Sky… Big Sky Player of the Week for performance at Portland State… tabbed as preseason All-Big Sky and All-America quarterback… first sophomore in school history to serve as a team captain. High School Earned All-District 5-5A and honorable mention all-state honors as a senior, leading team to 5A Division I State Championship… was team MVP and John Reddell Sportsmanship Award winner… also a standout in baseball, basketball and track… helped lead his basketball squad to a state title as a junior.
Academics and Community Service: A marketing major…. Student council member in high school… has volunteered in the Bozeman community for the Relay for Life, Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Montana, Chief Joseph Middle School and a pair of elementary schools (Morning Star and Hyalite)… earned MSU’s Robert Tierney Award for community involvement and citizenship… chaired the Promotion and Advertising Committee of the First MSU Blue and Gold Ball in the spring of 2012… serves on MSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee… summer intern at Bozeman’s local ABC/Fox affiliate (2012) and MSU’s Information Technology Center (2013).
