Montana State (2010) Enters the fall as MSU’s projected starting tight end... earned the team’s Hayden Ferguson Academic Award during spring drills for maintaining the highest GPA on the squad. (2009) Caught 17 passes, fifth on the team… three touchdown catches was third on the squad… all three TDs came in season’s first six games… 42 receiving yards against Dixie State… Academic All-Big Sky. (2008) Played in all 11 games… caught four passes for 44 yards, including a five-yard touchdown pass against Portland State… registered 10 tackles on special teams, seven solos… led the team in special teams participation. (2007) Caught one pass, but it was a big one, a 27-yard touchdown in MSU’s 50-36 win at Portland State… played in all 11 games, primarily on special teams. (2006) Redshirted.
Custer County A three-year starter at Custer County, whose teams advanced to the state championship game once and the quarterfinals two other times… rushed for 1,606 yards with 13 sacks and 24 tackles for loss as a senior… all-state on offense and defense as a junior and senior, and earned all-state honors in basketball and track (high jump and 4x100 relay) as a senior.
Academic A horticulture major with an emphasis in landscape design… ranked 12th in his high school class at Custer County.
