REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2022-23):
Hein played in 23 games…averaged 5.2 minutes per contest…averaged 1.2 points per outing…notched season-high nine points against Arizona State…against Sun Devils, went two-of-two from the field and five-of-six from the free throw line…shot 47.6% from the filed…pulled down 19 rebounds on the season, including a season-best three boards on two occasions against Providence and Northern Colorado…dished out three assists…had one steal…registered four blocks, including a season-high two swats against Providence…was an All-Big Sky Conference Academic honoree.
FRESHMAN (2021-22):
Hein played in seven games, including two starts before a foot injury ended her season…the true-freshman was averaging 4.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 57.1% from the field…notched a career-best 16 points in the season-opener against Carroll College, connecting on six-of-nine from the field and four-of-five from the free throw line…hauled down season-high seven rebounds against the Saints, as well…finished with three blocks, two coming in MSU’s win over Carroll College…dished out three assists against the Saints…posted six points at South Dakota State going three-of-four from the floor against the Jackrabbits…averaged 12 minutes per game.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a three-time Class B all-state selection and a three-time all-conference choice…held 2021 Montana Class B mark for most points scored in a game with 41…averaged 23 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks per game as a senior…as a junior, led Forsyth High School to a co-Class B state title….at the Class B state tournament, averaged 22 points and eight rebounds, while also posting seven blocks and six assists prior to the championship game which was canceled due to COVID-19…for her efforts, was named to the Class B First-Team All-State Tournament squad…broke 14 records at Forsyth High School…an outstanding student, was a National Honor Society member, served on student council and was class valedictorian.
