Athlete Wellness Department
Dr. B.T. Cooper is the CPS psychologist embedded in Athletics. He helps Bobcat student-athletes with mental performance including goal setting, visualization, positive self-talk, and referral for clinical consultation and services. Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS)
https://www.montana.edu/counseling/Free and confidential personal counseling is available to students wishing to address a variety of issues. Whether you are in distress or struggling, seeking to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, or working to prevent current concerns from developing into more serious problems, CPS has many options available to assist you during your time at MSU. There are options for individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, consultation, as well as seminars and training on special topics.

MSU VOICE Center
http://www.montana.edu/oha/voice/The MSU VOICE Center provides free and confidential services and information for all people impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and harassment; including friends, family, and loved ones of survivors. Advocates are available 24-hours a day to provide confidential support, information, and discuss different options. The VOICE Center also provides prevention presentations, training, and volunteer opportunities for those who want to help support survivors and work to prevent interpersonal violence on our campus.

Diversity and Inclusion Student Commons (DISC)

A commons is a place - physical or intellectual - where culture, space, and community converge. DISC promotes inclusion and understanding of difference, supports students from underrepresented identity groups, and encourages critical thinking about diversity topics. The mission of the MSU DISC is to increase understanding, promote inclusion, and inspire critical thinking about diversity, as well as to provide support for those who identify with a wide range of diverse identity groups

Diversity and Inclusion Ambassadors (DIA): DIAs are a unique group of students with various experiences in marginalized identities, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability status, socioeconomic status, religion, and citizenship status/national origin. These volunteers help staff the DISC office and accomplish a variety of DISC-related tasks

All-Inclusive Mentorship (AIM): AIM offers mentoring opportunities for students identifying with a wide variety of underrepresented identities, including but not limited to LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Hispanic/Latinx, varying ability statuses, religious/spiritual affiliations- to be paired with faculty, staff, or other students as mentors. Student health services provide acute and ongoing health care for current MSU students. We are staffed by licensed and registered medical professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, laboratory staff, radiologic technologists, and pharmacists.

Bobcat Athletics Registered Dietitian
Shiann Kramer, RDN, is the registered Dietitian/Nutritionist at Bobcat Athletics. Kramer helps Bobcat teams create nutrition options for peak performance and provide education and nutrition counseling for student-athletes.

Insight Alcohol and Drug Assistance Center

The Insight/MIP (Minor in Possession) program is a three-level alcohol & drug assistance and intervention program open to all MSU students, either by self-referral or by referral from MSU offices, departments, or the local court system. Additionally, support, counseling, and treatment referrals are offered for individuals affected by substance use. MSU employs a full-time licensed counselor to work specifically with substance abuse issues. The center's licensed Counselor can also meet and consult with family or friends of students on a limited basis in order to discuss options and offer support.

The Dean of Students office works with individual students, student groups, and other campus offices to ensure student success and adherence to community and academic standards. The goal in working with students, faculty, and staff is to foster a campus environment that is conducive to academic inquiry, productive campus life, and thoughtful study and discourse. This office can provide assistance and support by appointment and on a "drop-in" basis.
