Cross Country and Track
- "Andrew is an all-around outstanding leader. He genuinely cares about each of his teammates and can relate to everyone on the team. He is a supportive person who can talk to anyone about anything. Andrew is also a very selfless individual who works hard to make others happy. He is a SAAC representative and is a great role model for younger runners."
Men's Track and Field
- "Mason Storm needs little introduction. He is consistently a top performer on the Track, in the classroom and in the hearts of his teammates. Mason works extremely hard training for arguably the most difficult event in almost any sport, the Decathlon. This is a huge time commitment, yet he still finds time to help his teammates out at practice, be present for his friends when they need him, and tutor other students in difficult courses. He is a modern renaissance man and deserves this award for the second year in a row. I can think of no one more deserving."
Track
- "Alex is a leader on the track team as well as a very talented jumper. He has done a lot of work with the voice center this year as a part of the SAAC initiative. Additionally, he is very supportive of his team and drove through the night to Arizona to cheer on the track team at conference. Very successful business student as well as a jumper."
Football
- Capped standout Bobcat career on the gridiron among leaders in several receiving categories. Was named an FCS Academic All-American, was one of 58 student-athletes to earn an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship and was an FCS ADA Academic All-Star Award. "Amazing academic career as well as on the field. Strong example of what it means to be an all-around great student athlete."
Basketball
- Returned from injuries several times to continue to be a leader on the team. Was a captain as a senior for the Bobcats. Broke the career mark for all-time games played by a Montana State men's basketball player in MSU's final weekend inside Brick Breeden Fieldhouse during the 2017-18 season.
Track & Field
- "Sam is more dedicated to the Cats than any human I have ever met. He values his teammates more than anything and is always extremely supportive. He trains with 110% effort all the time and with a positive attitude. He works extremely hard in school and has done an exceptional job of balancing engineering with being an athlete."
Nordic Skiing
- "Came back from injury during the previous season and gave it his all at every practice. He was a great role model for what hard work and dedication looks like and supported team members in their pursuits. Was psyched about competing at peak level for NCAAs all year and always talked about competing with a positive attitude. Even when races didn't go his way, he continued to support his team mates and celebrated their accomplishments."
