Football
- Joined the Bobcat offensive line rotation as a starter and became a mainstay as a redshirt freshman. Played in all 11 games for the Bobcats during his debut season. Found his spot at the guard position and was a starter there for eight contests.
Nordic Skiing
- Had a solid first season in the Blue and gold despite competing against individuals with a lot more high-level racing experience. . Recorded one top top 10 finish at New Mexico Invite by taking ninth in the freestyle. Was 20th at the RMISA/NCAA West Regional before competing at the NCAA Championships.
Cross Country and Track & Field
- Brandon started his freshman campaign strong for the MSU cross country team. Was the Bobcats' top finisher in four of MSU's five cross country meets. Placed runner-up at the Montana Invitational. Took 13th at the Big Sky Championships, including finishing as the second-best freshman runner at the meet. Also made first appearance at Big Sky Indoor Championships for the track and field team.
Men's Tennis
- Has had a stellar start to Big Sky Conference outings. Major contributor to MSU's 3-1 start in conference play as a team. Is among the leaders on the team with a 7-4 mark in singles matches this season with a 7-4 record.
Track & Field
- Chris competed for the Bobcat cross country team, but made biggest splash with track and field squad. Joined MSU all-time top 10 in the 800-meter run during debut campaign. "Chris is an incredible athlete and teammate. He has run exceptionally well and works very hard and is extremely dedicated to training and competing for his team! He ran the 4th fastest 800 in the Big Sky, which is an incredible achievement for a freshman. Outstanding work ethic and heart."
Football
- Troy was named Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year for his role on both the MSU offense and defense. He rushed for 515 yards, 45 receiving yards, 6 touchdowns, and 9 tackles on defense. He also held important roles on MSU's kicking teams. He was a national finalist for the Jerry Rice Award, which is presented annually to the nation's top freshman.
