Carter Theade
Women's Track and Field
- "Carter is an outstanding Student, arguably works harder at her sport than most the others on the team, and is one of the kindest, most caring teammates I have had the pleasure of competing with. She is not only a teammate to the track team, she is a wonderful friend, mentor, and in some cases, care-person. I feel confident in saying that everyone on the Track team, male or female, looks up to Carter in some capacity and has the highest respect for her and her integrity. There will be a noticeable absence on the Track team, and in athletics in general, when Carter graduates this year."
Volleyball
- "Hannah is one of the hardest workers I know. She has a passion for volleyball and constantly reminds us that we are “living our dream”. She is a leader and friend to everyone on and off the court. There have been numerous times when Hannah has stepped up to the plate when she was needed most and helped us get the win. I couldn’t imagine being here without her and I feel blessed to be her teammate."
Track and Field
- "Rachel is consistently doing whatever it takes to reach her potential. Not only is she a stand out freshman on the track team, but she excels in her studies as a political science major. She is one of the easiest people to approach and never fails to put a smile on my face."
Women's Basketball
- "Delany was Big Sky Honorable Mention this past year, part of 2 Big Sky Championships, one NCAA Tournament berth, a 31-home game winning streak, and has maintained a 3.7 GPA. She has committed many hours of service to the Bozeman Lodge community and is passionate about Bobcat Spirit."
Cross Country and Track
- "Morgan embodies what it means to be a student-athlete. She finds a way to balance her rigorous coursework with athletics, all while being an exceptional friend and teammate. Morgan is pursuing a career in medicine, which means countless hours of studying for the MCAT, working in a lab, and attending a writing group for how to write a personal statement for medical school. In addition to these activities, Morgan still finds time to train hard and compete at her best. Her mileage is typically one of the highest on the team, which is indicative of her dedication to the sport. Morgan is someone you can always count on to make your day."
Skiing
- "Kari is a great skier, student, and person. She is always looking for ways to improve the student athlete experience with projects in SAAC and always super supportive of athletes in all sports! From being a leader on the hill, to being dedicated to extracurricular initiatives, Kari is what it means to be an outstanding citizen, leader, scholar and athlete. She has excelled at competition this year, all while being and integral part of SAAC and the initiatives taken through that."
Track and Field
- "Alex shows incredible drive and commitment to her team. She is encouraging, driven and makes an active effort to better her team at every opportunity she is given. Alex continuously facilitates an incredible team atmosphere through regularly setting up team events on her own initiative. There isn’t a person on the team who doesn’t feel a warm connection with her. Freshman feel comfortable going to her for help, and upper classmen can feel a sense of mentorship and leadership from her as well. Alex maintains impeccable grades within Computer Engineering and photography. Her kind, intelligent nature is an integral part of the women’s track team, and I believe she deserves this more than anyone I can think of. Alex is a true Bobcat, through and through."
Track and Field
- "Taylor is an outspoken and extremely supportive leader on the track team. She is always supporting her teammates. Additionally, she is central to the little bobcat track and field program. In addition to service and support, she is a talented athlete with many all-conference finishes to her name."
Women’s basketball
- "She is an outstanding leader on and off the court. She has endured several injuries but has continued to be selfless and encouraging to her teammates and others around her. She puts full effort into her sport as well as extracurricular and academics. She is also very personal and is incredibly “street smart” which goes further than book smart in my humble opinion. She is a successful student athlete in all categories that are important for ultimate success in life. To win this award I do not believe one can be good at just their sport and academics but must do well in every aspect of their lives which Blaire has achieved."
