Skylehr Stiles
Skylehr Stiles, a resident of Belgrade, MT, has been participating in Special Olympics since he was 8 years old. He competes in alpine skiing, equestrian, golf, bowling, and floor hockey for his team the Belgrade Panthers. He is a big advocate and fundraiser for the organization participating every year in the Bozeman Presidents Day Polar Plunge, the Montana Law Enforcement Torch Run as well as selling raffle tickets for the organization. This year Skylehr won the honor of representing the State of Montana by being awarded the prestigious Special Olympics Montana athlete of the year award!
September 17, 2016 - Montana State vs. Western Oregon
Alison Bowers
Alison Bowers, a resident of Bozeman, MT, has been participating in Special Olympics for 15 years. She competes in alpine skiing, bowling, track & field, basketball and soccer for her team the Bozeman Outreach Bobcats. Alison was in the first class of Montana project SEARCH, an internship program at Bozeman health for young adults with disabilities to learn job skills, gain experience and get a job they love. After her graduation from this program Alison became part of the MSU family by landing a job at the MSU bookstore.
September 24, 2016 - Montana State vs. North Dakota
Nic Hansford
Nic Hansford is a resident of Belgrade, MT, and has participated in Special Olympics since he was 8 years old. He competes in bowling, basketball, downhill skiing, equestrian, and track for his team the Bozeman Flames. His older brother, Robert is one of his biggest advocates and competes alongside his brother as a unified partner in basketball, soccer, bowling and track. This past year the Nic's team the Bozeman Flames had the honor of representing the State of Montana by being awarded the prestigious Special Olympics Montana Team of the year award!
October 8, 2016 - Montana State vs. Northern Arizona
Cole Cameron & William West
Cole Cameron, a resident of Manhattan, MT has been participating in Special Olympics for the past 3 years. He completes in bowling, gymnastics, and track and field events for the Manhattan Tigers. Cole said that his favorite sports team in the whole world is the Montana State Bobcat football team. Cole loves the bobcats so much, his glasses are blue and gold.

Nathan Wichman
William West is a Freshman at Bozeman High School. He is a multi-sport athlete and participates in basketball, skiing, floor hockey, soccer, bowling and track & field events. William is a leader on the Bozeman Hawks Special Olympics Team and is a great example of what sportsmanship looks like!
October 22, 2016 - Montana State vs. Eastern Washington
Nathan Wichman
Nathan Wichman is an alum of Belgrade High, a Belgrade residence and a native Montanan. He has been participating in Special Olympics for the past 17 years. Nathan competes in track & field, bowling, alpine skiing and basketball. Nathan is an avid sports fan. He follows his local sports teams as you will find him attending many of the Belgrade Panthers and MSU Bobcat sporting events. This past season, Nathan was recognized at a Belgrade High sporting event and received the Belgrade Super Panther Fan award from the Athletic Department.
November 12, 2016 - Montana State vs. UC Davis
Scott Abbott is 59 years old and has been a huge fan of the MSU Bobcats since moving to Bozeman in 1979. He currently has a volunteer job in the MSU Gym and has worked in the Athletics Department in the past. Scott is an enthusiastic athlete on The Reach Renegades team for Special Olympics and enjoys competing in swimming, golf, and bowling.

Clint Winchester has been an active member of the Special Olympics community for 21 years. He is an athlete on the Reach Renegade team right here in Bozeman, Montana. Clint has enjoyed a lifelong passion for all sports, especially basketball.

Ruth Spinelli
Ruth Spinelli has been a team leader for the Bozeman Flames since 2013. She participates in track, basketball, skiing, and equestrian events, and last year completed a triathlon at the state summer games. She is a super fundraiser for the Polar Plunge and always sells lots of Special Olympics raffle tickets to support her team!

Mike Neibauer
Mike Neibauer has participated in Special Olympics since High School. He represents his team the Bozeman Outreach Bobcats in Basketball, Bocce, Bowling, Track & Field, Alpine Skiing and Soccer. Mike spends his weekdays working at Reach and the Garage in downtown Bozeman. He is an active member of the Bozeman community and loves the Bobcats!

Derek Seymour
Derek Seymour is a Senior at Bozeman High School. Derek's favorite sport is Basketball but he has also played floor hockey and soccer. He is excited to graduate and work more at Riverside Country Club. Derek would like to take on more leadership roles and may help with coaching the Bozeman Hawks Special Olympics team next year. He also loves building and Home Improvement DIY projects, or anything to do with tools and building.

Sarah Christman
Sarah Christman is an athlete on the Three Forks Wolves Special Olympic Team. She participates in 5 on 5 basketball, track and field, and cross country skiing. Sarah is an athlete who always gives a 100% and practices great sportsmanship. She is the spark plug on her team and a wonderful representative of the Special Olympics mission!

Anneka Van Abbema
Anneka is an athlete with the Gallatin Valley Bears Special Olympics team. She loves sports, especially basketball, and avidly attends the home games of her beloved Manhattan Tigers. Anneka received a special award from the Big Sky Area for her strong competitive attitude and team leadership. She is very excited to be here tonight with some friends to watch the MSU Bobcats play.
