Montana State (2010) Played his way to the top of the depth chart at the Sam linebacker position with a solid spring… earned MSU’s 2009-10 ALL-Star Award as the top Bobcat student-athlete in community service hours served. (2009) Logged another stellar season on special teams, earning MSU’s Jan Stenerud Kick Teams MVP award and All-Big Sky Honorable Mention special teams honors… 20 tackles on the season, including one for a loss… career high four tackles against Sacramento State. (2008) One of MSU’s leaders in special teams snaps, and the team’s most productive kick teams player… led the squad with nine special teams tackles, including two each against Adams State and Idaho State. (2007) An outstanding special teams performer… registered eight tackles, including three solos… played in all 11 games. (2006) Redshirted.
Highwood Set Highwood’s career and season tackles records… his team’s defensive MVP in football, earning similar honors in basketball and track… helped lead Highwood to three Class C state football titles and a semifinal appearance in his four seasons, with a 42-4 record in that period.
