JUNIOR (2016):
Black saw action in 89 of 91 sets for the Bobcats as the starting middle blocker...ended the 2016 campaign averaging 1.90 kills and a team-best .91 blocks per contest...recorded seven matches in double-digit kills, including a career-high 20 kills in MSU's 3-2 win over Weber State on Oct. 6...recorded five matches hitting over .400 from the field, including a season-high .625 (10-0-16) against Big Sky champion North Dakota...ended the year hitting .255 from the floor, which was tops on the Bobcats squad...tallied 16 service aces, which was fourth highest on the team...posted a career-high four aces in MSU's win over Jacksonville State...finished with 81 total blocks, tops on the team...had seven matches with five blocks or more...registered a season-best seven blocks on three occasions against Eastern Washington, Weber State and North Dakota, respectively...was an All-Big Sky Conference Academic pick.
