Montana State (2014) A backup linebacker with versatility… also a special teams contributor. (2013) Redshirted at MSU after transferring from Pacific.
Pacific Started as a safety during the 2012 season at Pacific University in Oregon.
High School Four-year football and track letterman, playing for a state championship football team at Cashmere while winning individual titles on the track in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles, as well as the 4 x 400 m relay.

Personal Born Joey Edward Michael on May 15, 1994 in Cashmere, Wash… one of two children of Ed and Connie Michael… his father played baseball at Big Bend CC, while his grandfather Bill Edwardson played football at Puget Sound… an uncle, Bill Edwardson Jr., played basketball at Warner Pacific and for the Portland Trailblazers, while a cousin, Bill Edwardson III, also played hoops at Warner Pacific.
