Montana State (2014) MSU’s third-year starting Will linebacker, enters the season on the CFPA National Watch List as one of the top in the FCS at his position. (2013) MSU’s leading tackler with 110 on the season, and his 16.5 tackles-for-loss missed MSU’s top 10 list in that category by 0.5 TFL… earned Honorable Mention All-Big Sky honors in spite of leading all league linebackers in tackles-for-loss… he also finished 12th in the Big Sky in tackles-per-game (9.2), fifth with two fumbles forced and tied for fourth with three interceptions… . (2012) Played in 12 games… punctuated an outstanding campaign with a nine-tackle outing against UC Davis, a game in which Jody Owens was injured, also logging one sack and another tackle for loss… logged six tackles against Sam Houston, including three for a loss. (2011) Burned his redshirt midway through the season, becoming a significant special teams contributor on MSU’s second straight title team…logged six tackles on the season.
High School Earned all-conference and all-county honors at linebacker… All-CIF Northern Division… also earned Thousnd Oaks High’s Defensive MVP honors.
Academics Enrolled as a criminal justice studies.
Personal Born Alex Reed Singleton on December 7, 1993 in Thousand Oaks, CA… one of four children of Steve and Kim Singleton… an uncle, Craig Troxler, wrestled at Cal Poly… former prep teammates of Richard Mullaney of Oregon State and Colorado Mesa’s Travis Key.
