Three Bobcats from eastern Idaho look forward to returning to ICCU Dome
POCATELLO, Idaho – Montana State visits Idaho State University's ICCU Dome, formerly called Holt Arena, today for the first time since 2018, so no current Bobcat has played in this revamped venue.
Still, a handful of those lining up in the Blue and Gold have trod Holt Arena's turf. Starting tackle Titan Fleischmann of Pocatello, receiver Javonte King from Blackfoot, and Idaho Falls defensive lineman Logan Frederickson have each played here during their high school careers.
"I cannot wait to get back to Pocatello and play in the dome," Fleischmann said. "I'm fired up to have a bunch of friends and family be able to watch me play."

Injuries seem to attack position groups on the Bobcat roster this year, and the current wave is rolling through the defensive secondary. Safety Blake Stillwell remains out today, but at cornerback Jon Johnson is expected to return. The senior is not expected to start.

The Bobcats hold a 13-10 record in the ICCU Dome, and are 18-21-2 all-time in Pocatello. The 13 wins is second-most in any opponent stadium, after 17 wins at Weber State's Stewart Stadium. This series began in 1923, when the Bobcats beat Idaho Southern Branch 41-0 at old Hutchinson Field in Pocatello.

The 2024 season is Montana State's 10th with a 4-0 start, the third in the Big Sky era – 2012 (6-0), 1978 (7-0) and 1966 (4-0).

Playing in a dome is nothing new for most Big Sky Conference football players, and with domes at ISU, Northern Arizona and Idaho the Bobcats are surely in that category. But one players who hasn't played in a dome during his football career is place kicker Myles Sansted. A native of Alexandria, Minnesota, his high school team was one game from playing in the Minnesota Vikings home stadium, and indoor arena, but lost one step short.

The Bobcats have blocked punts in two straight games. Taki Uluilakepa blocked a Maine punt, and Rylan Ortt got one last week against Mercyhurst.
