Tommy Mellot Named FCS ADA All-America Quarterback

Bobcat quarterback adds to his list of honors
BOZEMAN, Montana - Montana State senior Tommy Mellott was named All-America quarterback by the Football Championship Subdivision Athletic Directors Association (FCS ADA) on Monday.
The FCS ADA All-America team consists of 12 players across 11 position groups. The Big Sky Offensive MVP and consensus 1st Team All-America led the Bobcats to a 15-0 season to this point, and a berth in the FCS Championship Game on Jan. 6 in Frisco, Texas.
The 12th annual award recognizes the top student-athletes from FCS institutions across 11 different positions. The 2024 class includes student-athletes from 11 different institutions, representing six different conferences. Voting was conducted by a national panel, consisting of media and sports information directors. The following student-athletes earned 2024 All-America laurels from the FCS ADA, as the top players from each of their positions. For the first time, the FCS ADA is honoring 12 individuals due to a tie in the voting at offensive lineman.
Of the 12 student-athletes, six participated in the 2024 NCAA Division I Football Championship Playoff bracket. The leading vote-getters in each positional category are denoted below:
