Montana State sophomore Tilde Baangman reached the podium for the third time this season after placing third overall in the women’s 10K classic pursuit at the University of Utah Invitational on Saturday morning at the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center.

Montana State sophomore Tilde Baangman reached the podium for the third time this season after placing third overall in the women's 10K classic pursuit at the University of Utah Invitational on Saturday morning at the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center.

The native of Oestersund, Sweden clocked 52:19.1, just behind Alaska-Fairbanks' Kendall Kramer who won the individual title in 51:24.7.

Also recording points for the Bobcat women were Emma Albrecht, 16^th, 55:03.9, and Katey Houser, 17^th, 55:04.5, while Kate Oldham, 24^th, 56:11.2, Rosie Whittington-Evans, 26^th, 56:19.6, Lily Murnane, 32^nd, 1:00:59.5, and Helen Wilson, 33^rd, 1:03:22.2 crossed the finish line.

The MSU men were paced in kits top three by Florian Winker, who covered the 10k race in 45:52.6. He was followed by Fredrik Nilsen, 17^th, 46:49.4, and Kai Meyers, 22md, 47:57.0.

Utah's Joe Davies won the event in 44:15.8.

Also recording time for the Bobcats were Gavin Galyardt, 32^nd, 49:46.3, Joel Power, 35^th, 51:10.6, and Phineas Fischer, 36^th, 51:58.0.

After the Nordic portion of the UU Invite, the Utes sit atop the team standings with 382 points, followed by Colorado 289, Denver 280, UAF 275, Alaska-Anchorage 240, MSU 218, and Wyoming.
The alpine events take place Jan. 18 (giant slalom) and 20 (slalom) at Olympic Park, in Park City, Utah.
