Seger Finishes Fifth in Giant Slalom to Pace Bobcats at RMISA Alpine Qualifier

The product of Vancouver, B.C. Canada, posted a two-run clocking of 1:50.19. Seger’s second go of 54.36 was the fastest second run of the competition.

Montana State two-time All-America performer Riley Seger posted his first top five finish of the season, placing fifth in giant slalom at Wednesday's Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association alpine qualifier at Eldora Mountain Resort.

The product of Vancouver, B.C. Canada, posted a two-run clocking of 1:50.19. Seger's second go of 54.36 was the fastest second run of the competition. Colorado's Jacob Dilling won the giant slalom title in 1:49.07.

MSU's second - fourth place finishers were separated by just .46-seconds. Finishing behind Seger were Gianluca Boehm, ninth, 1:50.43, Jamie Casselman, tenth, 1:50.49, Isak Staurset, 11^th, 1:50.53, Henry Heaydon, 14^th, 1:50.89, Tanner Perkins, 17^th, 1:51.20, and Dawson yates, 29^th, 1:52.29.

The Bobcats will compete in the alpine portion of the Spencer James Nelson Memorial CU Invitational, Feb. 9-10 at Eldora Mountain Resort.
