
Bobcats Earn Spring Big Sky Conference All-Academic Honors

The Big Sky Conference office announced its 2021-22 Spring All-Academic Team, honoring student-athletes for their work both on the field of competition and in the classroom.
The Big Sky Conference office announced its 2021-22 Spring All-Academic Team, honoring student-athletes for their work both on the field of competition and in the classroom.
The spring all-academic team includes student-athletes from men's golf, women's golf, men's tennis, women's tennis, softball, men's outdoor track and field and women's outdoor track and field.
"Congratulations to every member of our Big Sky Spring All-Academic Team for their outstanding achievements this year both in the classroom and their area of competition," Commissioner Tom Wistrcill said. "Seeing more than 650 student-athletes earn a spot on this list is incredibly impressive, and indicative of how much time and energy that Big Sky student-athletes place on their academic pursuits. Our excellent academic staffs around the league also deserve commendation for how they support our student-athletes and position them to succeed in every phase of their collegiate experience."
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) Participated in at least half of the team's competitions; 2) Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution. For outdoor track and field, the student-athlete is also eligible competition-wise by participating at the conference championship meet.
