Big Sky Hall of Fame Ceremony, Live Streamed by Scripps at 8 pm MT, Launch Big Sky Kickoff on Saturday

Jan Stenerud and Ellie (Rudy) Van Swearingen Among Inaugural Inductees
SPOKANE, Washington – The Big Sky Conference offers proof that the 2022 football season is right around the corner, hosting a full slate of events this weekend at the Big Sky Kickoff Spokane.
The weekend's activities begin when 24 players from across the conference host a Skills Clinic at North Central High School from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Bobcat quarterback Tommy Mellott and safety Ty Okada represent at the clinic and throughout the weekend.
The Big Sky's amazing history takes center stage Saturday at 6:30 pm, when the inaugural Big Sky Conference Hall of Fame Induction Banquet begins. Bobcats Ellie (Rudy) VanSwearingen, a national championship pole vaulter at MSU, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jan Stenerud, and All-America kicker and ski jumper in the Blue and Gold, are among the 14 inducted Saturday at 8 pm. The event is streamed live on the MTN (Montana News Network) app through Scripps Media.
On Sunday, student-athletes and coaches help the league and its media partners with creative content for the upcoming season. On Monday, Big Sky Media Day moves into the spotlight. MSU Coach Brent Vigen, along with Mellott and Okada, will be interviewed live on ESPN+ at 11:46 am MT, while interviews stream on the MTN app via Scripps at 12:50 pm. KBZK-TV Bozeman is among the MTN network of stations.
