Troy Andersen Wins 2022 Montana AAU Little Sullivan Award

MSU All-America becomes eighth Bobcat male to land award
Montana State linebacker Troy Andersen from Dillon earned the 2022 Montana AAU Little Sullivan Award as the top amateur male athlete in the Treasure State on Saturday.
A multi-sport all-state selection at Beaverhead County High, Andersen finished his Bobcat career as one of the most decorated football players in Big Sky Conference history. He earned FCS/ADA National Defensive Player of the Year honors after a senior season in which he led the Cats to last season's national championship game. He earned All-America honors at three positions, was 2021 Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year, and was CoSIDA First Team Academic All-America as a senior. He was also one of 13 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athletes.
Andersen, who was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons last week, becomes the eighth Bobcat male to earn the Little Sullivan Award, and the fifth MSU football player. Only two of those representing Montana State graduated from a Class AA high school. The previous Cats to win:
