The Montana State Athletics Department spent the evening of Thursday, April 21, recognizing the many achievements of Bobcat student-athletes during the 2021-22 academic year
BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Montana State Athletics Department spent the evening of Thursday, April 21, recognizing the many achievements of Bobcat student-athletes during the 2021-22 academic year. Below is a breakdown of the nominees and award winners selected for the 2022 Golden Bobcats all chosen by the MSU student-athletes.
Outstanding Faculty Award
Presented to a faculty member who has demonstrated a commitment to teaching and to fostering the intellectual and personal growth of Montana State student-athletes
Winner: Caitlyn Jordan-Kalfell
Inspiration Award
Presented to a member of the Bobcat Athletics community whose personal efforts and contributions embody the mission of the Athletic Department and serves as an inspiration to all of those around them
Winner: Jennifer Chiu, Bobcat Athletic Training Staff
Unsung Hero Award (Staff)
Presented to a staff member in the Bobcat Athletics community, whose efforts toward, and passion for, the program go above and beyond
Winner: Ryan Hartsell, Montana State Strength & Conditioning Staff
Top Academic Team
Presented to the team with the highest GPA in the previous calendar year
Winner: Women's Tennis (3.77 GPA)
Academic Excellence Award
Presented to any graduating student-athlete with a 4.0 GPA
