
College Coaching Legend Dennis Erickson Addresses MSU Coaches Clinic Friday

Former MSU quarterback highlights impressive clinic lineup
BOZEMAN, Montana – Former Bobcat All-America quarterback Dennis Erickson, whose College Hall of Fame coaching career began at Billings Central and Montana State, returns to Bozeman Friday to serve as keynote speaker for the 2022 Montana State Coaches Clinic this weekend in Bozeman.
A coach who led Miami to National Championships in 1989 and 1991, Erickson also coached at Idaho, Wyoming, Washington State, Oregon State and Arizona State, along with Seattle and San Francisco in the NFL. He led the Bobcats to Big Sky titles in 1966, 1967 and 1968, earning All-Big Sky honors twice and All-America kudos as a senior. His address is 7:15 pm Friday.
Other coaches to address the clinic include Butte High coach and former Bobcat star Arie Grey, former Helena Capital, Great Falls High and MSU Northern head coach Mark Samson, Thompson High coach Jared Koskela, Sheridan (Wyoming) High School coach Jeff Mowry, Florence-Carlton head coach Pat Duchien, and Kyle Mihelish, who led Helena Capital to three state titles.
