BOZEMAN, Montana – Stats Perform named two Bobcats to its 2022 FCS All-America Team on Tuesday, the organization announced, making both first-time All-Americas.
Senior linebacker Callahan O'Reilly and sophomore offensive tackle Rush Reimer each landed Stats Perform FCS Third Team All-America honors, after helping lead the Bobcats to the team's third consecutive FCS Playoffs Semifinal appearance this season. Montana State also captured its first Big Sky title since 2012, earned its fourth straight playoff berth, and won at least 10 games for the third straight season. The latter two accomplishments mark program firsts.
O'Reilly, a Bozeman High grad, earned first team All-Big Sky honors for his hometown team, and led MSU in tackles in 2022 with 88, adding six tackles for loss including three sacks. He intercepted four passes, broke up two others, and hurried the quarterback five times. O'Reilly also forced three fumbles and recovered two others, accounting for more turnovers than any other player in the Big Sky. He also led the Cats in tackles in 2019 as a sophomore.
Reimer started all 14 games for the Big Sky's top offensive line, a unit which led the league in rushing and fewest sacks allowed in the regular season. The Bobcats finished second in the FCS in rushing yards per game with 311.9, and scored 42.9 points per game, third-best in the subdivision.
The Bobcats finished the season 12-2, capturing a share of the Big Sky title with an 8-0 record.
