Troy Andersen Lands Phil Steele FCS Defensive Player of the Year Award, Three Bobcats Named All-America

Four Bobcats land on Phil Steele and draftscout.com All-America teams
BOZEMAN, Montana – Troy Andersen landed his second national player of the year award in the last week on Monday, when Phil Steele and the drafscout.com staff named the Bobcat linebacker 2021 FCS Defensive Player of the Year.
Between honors by Phil Steele and last week's FCS ADA Defensive Player of the Year award, Andersen led the Bobcats to the 2021 FCS National Championship game against North Dakota State, a 38-10 Bison victory. Andersen leads a Bobcat contingent on the Phil Steele FCS squad that also features first team defensive lineman Daniel Hardy, second team running back Isaiah Ifanse, and second team offensive lineman Lewis Kidd.
Bobcat freshman kicker Blake Glessner earned 2nd Team All-Freshman honors from Phil Steele and the draftscout.com staff.
