Troy Andersen Added to Stats Perform Buck Buchanan Award Preseason Watch List

Settled At Linebacker, Andersen Prepares for Senior Season
BOZEMAN, Montana – Troy Andersen begins his senior season one of 35 FCS players on the Stats Perform Buck Buchanan Award Preseason Watch List, the organization announced on Thursday.
A senior from Dillon, Andersen begins the 2021 season as a linebacker in Montana State's revamped 4-3 scheme. He logged 54 tackles in parts of 11 games in 2019, including 11.5 tackles-for-loss and 6.5 sacks. He also picked off one pass and broke up five others. In his career, Andersen earned Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year as a running back in 2017, and First Team All-Big Sky and All-America honors in 2018 as a quarterback. In 2019, he earned All-Big Sky and All-America honors as a linebacker.
Andersen and the Bobcats begin practice for the 2021 season on Friday.
