Bobcat Athletics Adds Cassie Buchholz, Hannah Stevens to Staff

MSU filled two key Athletics posts on Thursday...
BOZEMAN, Montana – July 29, 2021 – Bobcat Athletics filled a pair of key roles Thursday, hiring Cassie Buchholz as Athletic Academic Coordinator/Learning Specialist and Hannah Stevens as Director of Marketing and Game Operations.
Buchholz comes to Montana State from the University of Maryland, where she worked as Assistant Learning Specialist Intern throughout 2021. She has also served internships at Hilliard Solutions of Houston, Texas (August 2020 to January 2021) and University of Washington Athletics Learning Resources (August 2019 to June 2020). Previously she worked as a client intake specialist for a Seattle-area law firm (February 2018 to May 2019), and as Gym Coordinator for the Seattle Gymnastics Academy. (May 2017 to February 2018).
A University of Washington graduate with a BA in Sociology and Communications (2017), Buchholz also earned a Masters in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown (2020). In her role as Learning Specialist she provides individualized academic support while serving as academic coordinator for selected Bobcat teams.
Stevens recently completed her Master of Science in Sport Management at SMU, and previously earned her BS in marketing from Illinois State (2019). In 2019-20, she worked as a Marketing Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington, supervising student interns and conducting marketing operations for men's basketball, tennis and baseball. As an undergrad, she was a Red Alert Game Day intern before earning a promotion to Marketing Assistant at ISU.
Stevens coordinates marketing and promotional efforts for all Bobcat varsity sports. She also manages a team of interns and helps supervise the department's social media accounts.
