Bobcat Men, Women Each Finish Fourth in Big Sky All-Sport Competition

Montana State rode strong performances from several squads in 2021
BOZEMAN, Montana - Montana State finished fourth in the Big Sky Conference All-Sport Trophy in both the men's and women's competition, the league announced.
The Bobcat men finished third in the conference cross country championships, fourth in men's basketball, fourth in the northern division in men's tennis, and second in outdoor track and field in 2021. Northern Arizona won the men's all-sport trophy, while Southern Utah finished second and Weber State third. MSU finished ahead of Eastern Washington (fifth), Idaho State (sixth), and Montana (seventh), among others.
The Bobcat volleyball, women's basketball, cross country and track and field teams each finished third in 2021 to lead the effort in the women's all-sport standings. MSU also finished 10th in golf, and fifth in the northern division in women's tennis. Northern Arizona captured the top spot in the women's competition, followed by Weber State and Idaho. Southern Utah (fifth), Northern Colorado (sixth), and Montana finished immediately behind the Cats.
