Seventeen Bobcat Skiers Named to USCSCA All-Academic Team

Seventeen Montana State skiers earned USCSCA All-Academic honors for 2021.
DENVER, Colo. – A record 428 student-athletes from 28 institutions that compete in the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association, the Central Collegiate Ski Association and the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association were named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team Tuesday by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association.
To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. In 2021 because membership in the three conferences spans all divisions in the NCAA and not all institutions competed in winter sports due to the pandemic, the normal requirement of participation in one of three NCAA Regional competitions was waived.
Bobcats named to the all-academic team include: Kristiane Bekkestad, James Casselman, Ti Donaldson, Ylva Falksete, Reed Godfrey, Brynne Hitchcock, Aubrey Leclair, Louis Mühlen-Schulte, Hanna Nyquist, Adrianna Proffitt, Riley Seger, Åge Solheim, Nellie Talbot, Zak Vinter, Antonia Wearmouth, Tegan Wold, and Dawson Yates.
Montana State will compete in the NCAA Skiing Championships, March 10-13 in New Hampshire.
