Bobcat Skiers Finish Third at Denver Invite

The Montana State men’s Nordic squad had a pair of top ten finishes to lift the Bobcats to a third-place finish at the Denver Invitational on Saturday afternoon
The Montana State men's Nordic squad had a pair of top ten finishes to lift the Bobcats to a third-place finish at the Denver Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Zanden McMullen placed fourth in the 10-kilometer classic event, while Ti Donaldson posted a tenth place showing at Maloit Park.
McMullen, a product of Anchorage, Alaska covered the course in 28:10.9, while Donaldson posted a clocking of 29:06.6. Eli Hermanson completed MSU's scoring with a 12th place showing in 29:17.5. Eli Jensen finished 16th in 29:38.8, and Reed Godfrey, 17th, 29:41.4.
Colorado's Magnus Boee won the event in 27:39.4.
The Bobcat women were led by Sophia Mazzoni and Adrianna Proffitt, who placed 12th and 13th, respectively. Mazzoni covered the 7.5K course in 28:28.5, while Proffitt clocked 28:41.0. Aubrey LeClair rounded-out MSU's top three placing 18th in 29:42.4. Emma Albrecht finished 20th in 30:22.4.
Alaska Anchorage's Astrid Stav won the women's title in 25:55.23.
Utah won the Denver Invitational with 683 points. The Utes were followed by Colorado 608, MSU 538.5, Alaska Anchorage 503.5, Westminster 359, Denver 307, and Colorado Mountain 121.
