Bobcat Athletics continue to raise funds for student-athlete scholarships, nutrition, and healthcare
BOZEMAN, Montana – The Bobcat Club's 3rd Annual Blue & Gold Gala for Student-Athlete Scholarships, a virtual event in Bobcat Athletics' #PlantTheFlag Campaign, is scheduled for November 10, 2020. The free on-line social and auction begins at 6:30 pm.
MSU coaches and Bobcat Athletics staff members host the event, which will feature appearances by special guests throughout the evening. Live and silent auctions remain a highlight of the Blue & Gold Gala, with the funds raised throughout the #PlantTheFlag Campaign funding scholarships and health and nutrition needs of Montana State University student-athletes.
"As our competition schedules have changed, our support for Bobcat student-athletes has continued," said MSU Director of Athletics Leon Costello. "In addition to funding all athletic scholarships which includes tuition, fees, room, board and books, we continue to support our student-athletes in every way, including healthcare, academic support, nutritional and mental health needs. These costs remain and funds raised from the Blue and Gold Gala will directly benefit these critical departmental programs."
This year's Blue & Gold Gala also features a pre-game event. Details on that, on the auction, and on the required registration for this free event will be available in the weeks leading to this year's Blue & Gold Gala. For more information or to sponsor or donate to the event, please contact Rainey Peuse at 406/994-6859 or rainey.peuse@msubobcats.com.
