Bobcats Lewis Kidd, Amandre Williams Earn Preseason All-America Honors from STATS Perform

Kidd, Williams helped lead MSU to 11-4 season in 2019
BOZEMAN, Montana – Two Montana State seniors collected more preseason honors on Wednesday, when offensive lineman Lewis Kidd and Buck end Amandre Williams earned Third Team Preseason All-America honors from STATS Perform.
Kidd, from Minneapolis, has started the last 33 games at guard, eight away from the MSU career top 10 in that category, and is projected to move to tackle this season. He anchored the interior of an offensive line that produced the most rushing yards and allowed the fewest sacks in the Big Sky in 2019, earning Second Team All-Big Sky honors.
A transfer from the University of Washington prior to the 2019 season, Williams tied for second on the team with 65 tackles and 16 tackles-for-loss a season ago, and his 5.0 sacks were third on the squad. The Maple Valley, Washington, product also intercepted two passes, causing one fumble and recovering another. Williams earned Third Team All-Big Sky honors.
Kidd and Williams each also earned Third Team Preseason All-America honors from HERO Sports, and each earned Preseason First Team All-Big Sky honors from Phil Steele. Kidd was named First Team All-Big Sky by the league coaches.
