2003 - Running back Bruce Molock was granted eligibility by the NCAA after transferring to MSU from Cal State Northridge. Molock gained 988 yards for the Cats, leading MSU to a Big Sky title and NCAA Playoff berth during his only season as a Bobcat. Bruce Molock gashed Sacramento State for 201 yards on the ground, the 12th-best game in school history to that point, one of his six 100-yard rushing games that season. One year later, his brother Jonothan would transfer to MSU and star at linebacker for two seasons. The moves were precipitated by Cal State Northridge dropping football.
