Montana State senior Emma Tarbath was the lone Bobcat to record a top 10 finish on Sunday morning as MSU completed the Colorado Invitational.
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Montana State senior Emma Tarbath was the lone Bobcat to record a top 10 finish on Sunday morning as MSU completed the Colorado Invitational.
Tarbath placed sixth overall covering the 15-kilometer classic course in 50:18.7. She was followed by Anna Fake, 13th, 53:05.1, and Aubrey Leclair, 18th, 54:24.9.
Utah's Guro Jordheim won the women's classic title in 48:59.2.
The Bobcat men were paced by Reed Godfrey who finished 19th overall covering the 20K course in 1:01:41.4, while teammates Eli Jensen and Eli Hermanson crossed the line together. Jensen finished 23rd in 1:02:41.3, while Hermanson was 24th in 1:02:41.5.
Utah's Samuel Henry won the men's race in 56:28.0.
Behind the men's and women's champions in classic, Utah won the CU Invitational with 745 points. The Utes were followed by Colorado 641, Alaska Anchorage 523, Denver 496.5, MSU 426.5, Westminster 242, Alaska Fairbanks 230, Colorado Mountain 143, and Wyoming 67.
