Bryce Sterk Lands Weekly Honor as Cats Move Up in Polls

Montana State cracks Top 10 for first time in October, 2014
BOZEMAN, Montana – Montana State moved up in both the major FCS polls on Monday, while a Bobcat defensive star reeled in Big Sky weekly honors.
Senior defensive end Bryce Sterk registered six tackles, including three sacks, in the team's 38-17 win over then-No. 13 Southeast Missouri on Saturday. Montana State held the Redhawks to 245 yards and 12 first downs, and for the effort Montana State moved up from 13 to 10 in the STATS FCS poll and from 19 to 15 in the FCS Coaches Poll.
The ROOT Sports Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week honors was Sterk's first as a Bobcat. He shared the award with UC Davis' Devon King.
