May 28: Bobcat by the Numbers takes a look at current and past Bobcats whose jersey numbers correspond to the number of days remaining before Montana State opens the 2018 football season against Western Illinois in Bobcat Stadium's annual Gold Rush game on August 30.

Travis Yates, DL: A redshirt last season, Travis Yates battled injuries but is a physical defensive lineman with a bright future in the Blue and Gold.
Spotlight: If you were around Bobcat Athletics from 2005 until about 2008 or '09 and didn't have a funny, heartwarming story about David Siataga it's hard to believe you were trying very hard. One of the happiest and funniest people on campus, Sitaga played in all 11 games as a junior in 2005 and started all of MSU's 13 games in 2006. He logged eight tackles in his final game, Montana State's playoff loss at Appalachian State, and assisted on seven at Montana. A Sacramento product, Siataga remained in Bozeman for several years following his time as a Bobcat player, working in the MSU Equipment Room and in several establishments around town, before returning to California.
