At a Glance: Montana State closes the home portion of its schedule Saturday when long-time rival Northern Colorado visits Bobcat Stadium for the first time since 2012. In fact, no current Bobcat has played the Bears more than once, a 27-24 walk-off win last season at Nottingham Field. The Bears rally behind a pass offense ranked 24th in the nation and led by the dynamic tandem of Keaton Mott and his 127.60 pass efficiency rating, and spectacular receiver Alex Wesley. A Big Sky Conference sprint champion, Wesley has already eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark this year, as he did in 2017, and he has more than 2,500 career receiving yards. Montana State's approach is entirely different, of course, relying on the grinding ground game led by quarterback Troy Andersen (988 yards this season) and running back Isaiah Ifanse (713 yards as a true freshman).
