A look back at Montana State's 24-17 loss at Idaho State on Saturday...
PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS
OFFENSE: Troy Andersen, QB (6-3, 225, So, Dillon, MT) – Troy Andersen rushed for 106 yards, his third straight game over 100 and his fifth this season, at Idaho State on Saturday. He also punted once for 44 yards. MSU's sophomore quarterback logged his best passing day, throwing for 173 yards on 16-for-28 passing. Andersen has now rushed for 884 yards this season, with his 110.5 yards per game 15th in the FCS and his 7.49 yards per carry 6th.
DEFENSE: Brayden Konkol, S (6-2, 205, Jr, Belgrade, MT) – Brayden Konkol became the ninth player in Bobcat history to recover two fumbles in a game, when he did so Saturday at Idaho State. He also logged six tackles (five solos) and broke up a pass as Montana State held the Bengals to their lowest offensive output (391 yards) against an FCS opponent this season.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Isaiah Ifanse, RB (5-10, 190, Fr, Tacoma, WA) – Montana State running back Isaiah Ifanse rushed for 120 yards on 19 carries at Idaho State on Saturday, his third 100-yard game this season. His 465 rushing yards is fourth in Bobcat history among freshmen.
