Montana State Athletics is excited to introduce Champ's Kids Club, a brand-new club open to children eighth grade and younger. Members of the club will receive custom 'Champ's Kids Club' gear, free admission to dozens of Bobcat Athletics events, and more.
"We're thrilled to be offering a brand-new way for kids to engage with the Bobcats" said Bethany Cordell, Associate Athletic Director (Marketing). "This club will also provide an opportunity for those new to the Gallatin Valley to get exposed to Montana State Athletics."
Champ's Kids Club will include several features for kids that make it a great deal for the family.
The benefits include a laminated membership card with lanyard; official Champ's Kids Club t-shirt, sling bag and water bottle; custom birthday postcard from Champ; postcard from a team road trip; exclusive invitation to Champ's Kids Club events; monthly club e-newsletter; discounted birthday party packages for Bobcat basketball and volleyball games.
Membership benefits also include free admission to all Bobcat volleyball and track and field home events, all home men's and women's non-conference basketball games and one Bobcat football game.
"As a Bobcat Fan/Supporter, I could not be more excited for Champ's Kids Club," said Jake Doubek, Bobcat Athletics Fan Advisory Council Member. "I am the father of two (with one more on the way) and this is a perfect opportunity to engage our children and get them more excited about Bobcat Athletics.
"I have always felt like there is room for more child engagement - gone will be the days of leaving at halftime and listening to the second half on the radio. There is such an energy around everything Bobcat right now, and this athletic program continues to up the ante."
"I think the whole idea behind it (increasing participation of the young people in our community) is phenomenal," Montana State head volleyball coach Daniel Jones said. "We all know that being active and healthy and having good role models leads to better choices in life. As the father of a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old, I think there can be some very special relationships formed between our student-athletes and the young children in our community with this opportunity."
Memberships to join Champ's Kids Club will go on sale July 10. The membership year will run from the start of August through the end of May. The annual membership in the club is open to everyone and costs $30 per child, with a discounted price of $25 available to members of the Bobcat Club and the Montana State University Alumni Association.
