Five Bobcat Football Games Appear on ROOT SPORTS in 2017

MSU's package of games opens with Weber State, closes with Cat-Griz
Montana State football fans across the nation have plenty of opportunities to catch the Bobcats this fall. As part of the Big Sky Conference's multi-year extension with AT&T Sports Networks, the league announced that five MSU games appear on ROOT SPORTS' Big Sky Game of the Week in 2017.
Four Bobcat home games appear as part of the ROOT package in 2017. Montana State hosts Weber State on September 30 and Portland State on October 7 in back-to-back ROOT appearances, and also hosts Idaho State on October 28 as a Big Sky Game of the Week. MSU's only road game on ROOT next fall is the October 21 tilt at Northern Arizona, and the season ends in traditional style when MSU hosts the annual Cat-Griz clash on November 18. The Bobcats won last fall's Brawl of the Wild in Missoula.
The 2017 season marks the sixth of the partnership between the Big Sky and ROOT SPORTS' regional networks. ROOT's Big Sky production has won a pair of Emmy Awards to date. For the first time, those games also be archived on the league's video streaming platform 30 days following the original air date.
