Montana State All American Anika Miller had her best race of the season finishing third overall in the women’s Nordic freestyle sprints, Tuesday afternoon at Kincaid Park.

Montana State All American Anika Miller had her best race of the season finishing third overall in the women's Nordic freestyle sprints, Tuesday afternoon at Kincaid Park. The product of McCall, Idaho posted 34 points for the Bobcats.

Also producing points for MSU were Anna Fake, 19^th, and Jordi Floyd, 23^rd. Emma Tarbath, 26^th, also completed the sprints for the Bobcats. In all, the Montana State women racked-up 59 points.

The MSU men had two racers complete the sprint discipline. Martin Muan placed 18^th overall, while Noah Andersen was 19^th.

After six events, the Bobcats dropped from the top spot to third place with 421 points. Utah took over first place with 510 points, followed by Denver 434, MSU, Colorado 405, New Mexico 338, Alaska Anchorage 308, Alaska Fairbanks 107, Colorado Mountain College 56, and Westminster 29.

The sprints marked just the second time this season the event has been raced. The Seawolf Invitational will conclude on Wednesday with the mixed gender relay. The relay has not been run in nearly 30 years.
