Selected MSU fans may participate in shaping the school's athletics future
Bobcat fans hoping to shape the future of Montana State Athletics have the opportunity in the coming months.
Montana State University Director of Athletics Leon Costello announced Monday the launch of a Fan Advisory Council, designed to enhance communication between Bobcat Athletics and its constituents. Between 15 and 20 individuals comprise the Council, serving a two-year term and representing different demographics and perspectives.
"Bobcat fans are some of the most passionate fans in the country and we're constantly looking for new ways to engage them," Costello said. "The creation of this council ensures their voices are being heard and we are providing an experience that is second to none for our student-athletes and fans. We encourage anyone that is interested to apply."
The Bobcat Fan Advisory Council meets quarterly in Bozeman, with agendas sent to members in the days prior to each meeting and MSU's Associate Athletic Director for Marketing/Operations facilitating the discussion. The Director of Athletics will attend when possible, with other staff members and coaches joining the discussion based on availability and the topic.
The application process begins immediately, is scheduled to last for one week, and the initial meeting is slated for the week of October 3. To apply, follow the link below.
