Bobcats Add Stephen Omorogbe to Defensive Line

Air Force Prep product to enroll at MSU in January
Montana State made the first new addition to its 2017 football roster Thursday when Stephen Omorogbe signed a financial aid agreement to enroll in January.
Omorogbe, a 6-4, 265 lb defensive lineman, spent last fall at Air Force Prep in Colorado. He is originally from Woodstock, Georgia, played high school football at River Ridge High School, and begins his career at MSU as a freshman.
Bobcat head coach Jeff Choate said Omorogbe's credentials on the field and in the classroom are excellent. "He really only began playing football his junior year," Choate said. "He is a high academic achiever who had the opportunity to attend several Ivy League schools before he chose the Air Force Academy. He spent the fall at Air Force's prep school, but decided not to pursue the Academy. Stephen was attracted to Montana State because of the academic excellence and the trajectory of our football program."
Choate said that as much as he likes about Omorogbe on the football field, there is more to like as a person. "He is a very mature young man. He has good size and length, but I'm really impressed with the content of his character. He will be an outstanding fit in this program."
Omorogbe will be eligible to participate in MSU's spring drills.
