MSU Alumni Association offers youngsters a kicking chance
Calling it a 'once-in-a-lifetime experience,' the Montana State University Alumni Association announced Thursday that its popular Kickoff Kid program returns for the 2015 Bobcat football season.
Bobcat fans age 4-12 whose parents belong to the MSU Alumni Association are eligible for the random drawing to select participants. The winner joins Montana State's team captains at mid-field for the pregame coin toss during one of the team's six home games of 2015 and receives four game tickets and a selection of Blue & Gold gear.
"We love our young Bobcat fans and are excited to continue this ultimate fan experience," Kerry Hanson, Director of Alumni Relations at the MSU Alumni Foundation, said. "We have been overwhelmed by the number of positive responses and inquiries about the Kickoff Kid program, so we are pleased to continue it this year."
Registration for MSU Alumni Association members is at msuaf.org/kickoffkid or in person at the MSU Alumni Foundation Center, across the street from the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Only one entry is allowed per child. Drawings will be held prior to each home game, and entries remain in the pool throughout the season.
The Montana State University Alumni Association was established in 1903 by a small group of graduates who wanted to remain connected to—and involved with—their alma mater. Now a subsidiary of the Montana State University Alumni Foundation, the 12,000-member-strong MSU Alumni Association remains committed to advancing MSU by developing and enhancing relationships among the university, its alumni, students and friends.
