Crisitian Soratos earned Big Sky Conference Track Athlete of the week honors for the second time this season, the conference office announced today.
Cristian Soratos earned Big Sky Conference Track Athlete of the week honors for the second time this season, the conference office announced today.
The senior-transfer from Salinas, Calif. won the 800 with an altitude and flat-track converted time of 1:47.99 at the Powder River triangular meet. Soratos' time ranks first in the conference and sixth in the nation, while he also has two other times in the number one spot. His mile time of 3.56.87 is still the number one spot in the country and his 3,000 meter time of 8:01.53 sits at 27.
Montana State Track and Field returns home Friday, February 6 to host the Montana State Open. Field events are slated to begin at 4 p.m. and track events at 5 p.m.
