“We’ve been doing a super job in doubles play and getting the first point of the match,” MSU Head Coach Denise Albrecht said. “We’ve been getting the job done with just six players, as well. Our kids have bought in to fighting for every ball and they are playing with a lot of confidence.”
The Montana State women's tennis team swept Lewis Clark State 7-0 in non-conference action, Friday night in the Bobcat Anderson Tennis Center.
MSU (5-4) got off to a quick 1-0 lead by virtue of winning the doubles point, sweeping all three spots. Doubles play was highlighted at No. 1 where Montana State's top duo of Laura Middel and Jessica Brycki defeated LCS's Putri Dwinta and Stephanie Buckingham 6-2.
