
Soratos Earns Big Sky Weekly Honor

Cristian Soratos earned Big Sky Conference Track Athlete of the week honors for the first time, the conference office announced today.
Crisitian Soratos earned Big Sky Conference Track Athlete of the week honors, the conference office announced today. This is Soratos third athlete of the week honor, as he earned the award twice in 2014.
The senior-transfer from Salinas, Calif. ran a 3:56.87 mile in the MSU Open on Friday, January 16, ranking on top of the NCAA. With this time, Soratos beat his personal-best by almost five seconds, and climbed his way up to number two on MSU's all-time top-10 list. He is only the second Bobcat to earn a mile time under four minutes.
Montana State Track and Field remains at home as they host Montana and Idaho State on Friday, Jan. 23. Field events are set to begin at 4 p.m. and track events at 6 p.m.
