InterWest of Bozeman partnership boosts Bobcats' profile
The Montana State football team has traveled in style for many years. On selected trips in years to come, so too will the team's equipment.
Bobcat Athletics has teamed with InterWest Moving and Storage of Bozeman and Ink Outside the Box, along with Bobcat Sports Properties, to build the Freightliner Classic XL equipment truck that will transport Bobcat gear to athletic events throughout the state and on selected interstate trips. The truck features Bobcat logos and Bozeman-area scenic, and officially engages InterWest Moving and Storage as Bobcat Athletics' official travel partner.
"Our new equipment truck is a fabulous addition to our program because it provides us with an opportunity to promote the beauty of our community and our campus setting and at the same time promote the excitement and passion of Game Day at Montana State," said Bobcat coach Rob Ash. "Plus, the practical value of having a way to transport all of our football gear to away games will make our trips and travel more enjoyable and efficient."
InterWest, previously known as Lux Transfer and Storage, looks forward to partnering with the Cats, said its general manager Jason McCree. "We are extremely excited to partner with Bobcat Athletics in this endeavor. Part of our company's core values are quality and integrity. As we looked to become more involved in the community, one of our priorities was to partner with individuals and/or groups that shared those same types of values. MSU Athletics, as well as Coach Ash and his team, are quality programs that team accountability, dependability and integrity." InterWest is an agent for Atlas Van Lines.
The equipment truck was unveiled Wednesday night in downtown Bozeman during Bobcat Athletics' Cat Chat radio show.
